Feb 12: L&T Hydrocarbon Engineering Ltd (LTHE), a wholly owned subsidiary of Mumbai-based engineering and construction major Larsen & Toubro, on Monday said that it has signed a major field development EPC contract with Al Dhafra Petroleum Operations Company Ltd, Abu Dhabi, UAE, with a value in excess of Rs 2,200 crore.
Al Dhafra Petroleum is a joint venture between ADNOC and Korea National Oil Corporation (KNOC) and GS Energy, which is represented by Korean Abu Dhabi Oil Consortium (KADOC).
“The scope of the contract includes Engineering, Procurement, Construction & Commissioning of flow lines, gathering facilities & pipelines to transfer crude oil & gas from Haliba fields to processing facility at Asab and installation of 132 kV and 33 kV overhead electrical transmission lines to supply power,” L&T said in a BSE filing.
Incorporated in 2009, LTHE serves the oil and gas sector around the world. Organised under offshore, onshore, construction services, modular fabrication and engineering services verticals, the company delivers ‘design to build’ engineering and construction solutions across the hydrocarbon spectrum.
L&T shares were trading at Rs 1,350, up 1.55% from the previous closing of Rs 1,329.35, on BSE at 11.30 am today.
