Oct 12: Hyderabad-based Zen Technologies Ltd on Thursday said that the company has signed its biggest export order till date of about Rs 64 crore.
“Zen Technologies won the contract for live and virtual combat training systems against tough international competition. This order is expected to be executed in the first half of next financial year 2018-19,” the company said in a statement.
Incorporated in 1993, Zen Technologies Ltd is engaged in the design, development and manufacture of training simulators. The company offers its products to police and paramilitary forces, armed forces, security forces, government departments, such as transport, mining, infrastructure and civilian markets.
Shares of the company surged more than 12% and hit a new one-month high of Rs 69 intraday Thursday on BSE after the announcement came in. At 12 pm, the Re 1 face value shares were trading at Rs 64.80, up 5.11% from the previous closing of Rs 61.65.
