Feb 5: SBI Mutual Fund has proposed a close ended equity scheme aimed at investors with a moderate to high risk perspective. It will invest in a diversified portfolio of equity and equity related instruments. It also aims to manage risk through use of active hedging techniques. The benchmark index for the scheme is S&P BSE 500.
No redemption or repurchase of the units of the scheme will be allowed prior to the maturity of the scheme. There will be no entry load or exit load. The scheme will invest from 65-100% in equity or equity related instruments and 0-35% in debt and money market instruments. The duration of the scheme is likely to be 3 to 5 years. The minimum application amount is Rs 5000.
