Bengaluru: Schoolguru Eduserve, a technology-led specialised academic service organiser, will collaborate with 30 universities to facilitate distance education in India.
The startup would tie-up with universities in the government sector to facilitate distance learning in the higher education sector. The company would offer value added complementary courses matching the basic degree and skill of the student to improve employability.
Schoolguru is looking forward to extend its services globally and is planning to launch its courses at two universities in Africa during the next couple of months, a report said.
According to Shantanu Rooj , CEO, Schoolguru, the firm will digitise the existing curriculum to facilitate the students to avail the services on mobile platform . The company will sign long-term exclusive contracts with the universities and will share the revenue from the fees paid by students. School Guru is expecting to extend the service to 1 million students through its platform by March, he added.
