Xiaomi, the Chinese mobile phone maker, is all set to launch its Mi Pad 4 tablet and Redmi 6 Pro smartphone on June 25 in its home market. The company had previously given out most of the features of the upcoming devices.
The company had also confirmed that the Mi Pad 4 tablet will feature an 8 inch display. Latest news is that the display will be of 16:10 aspect ratio. The Mi Pad 4 will be way better than its predecessor Mi Pad 3 as the latter had a screen of 4:3 aspect ratio only.
The features of Mi Pad 4 were revealed through a bunch of leaked photos. The tablet, when compared to the boarder screen of the Mi Pad 3, comes with a taller display. The new device with a taller screen will allow the users to enjoy movies, play games and even web browsing.
The tablet, which will feature gaming specifications, will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octacore SoC. The Chinese smartphone maker has assured that the tablet will sport an AI based facial recognition feature too.
The device is likely to come in two variants which will include one with 4GB of RAM and 64 GB storage and another with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage with LTE.
The base model with 4 GB of RAM will be priced at RMB 1,499 which translates to Rs 14,100 while the LTE variant with 6 GB RAM will be priced at RMB 1,999 which translates to Rs 20,100. The Android 8.1 Oreo along with MIUI 10 interface will fuel the tablet.
