Aug 16: Vikas WSP Ltd, India’s leading guar gum powder (GGP) manufacturer, on Wednesday, said that it has received a trial export order worth approximately $1 million.
According to the company, “the order is for $ 10,36,800 of newly developed guar gum binder for a specific application for the stability of aquatic feed pellets to prevent fast water disintegration depending upon the nature and quantity of the binding material used”.
Haryana-based Vikas WSP Ltd is world’s leading and India’s largest manufacturer and exporter of Guar Gum Powder. Incorporated in 1988, the company has two 100% export oriented units at Sriganganagar (Rajasthan). The company supplies guar products to food manufacturers in almost all the continents. Besides food applications, Vikas WSP also manufactures guar gum products for highly specified applications such as oil and natural gas exploration, explosives and mining.
Shares of the company surged nearly 5% intraday Wednesday after the news came in. At 2.08 pm, the Re 1 face value shares were trading at Rs 11.62, up 4.97% from the previous closing of Rs 11.07.
