Jan 17: India’s leading integrated power company Tata Power Company Ltd on Wednesday announced that Powerlinks Transmission Ltd (PTL), a joint venture between the company and Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd, has been honored with ‘Best in Class Infra Asset South Asian Regional Grid (SARG)’ at 11th Enertia awards.
According to the company, the award is in recognition of company’s excellence in sustainable energy, power & renewables.
Speaking on the achievement, Anil Sardana, CEO & MD, Tata Power said, “… our joint venture with Power Grid Corporation of India Ltd is a testimony of pioneering Public-Private Partnership (PPP) in the transmission sector in India. In our efforts to excel, we will continue to undertake best practices in ensuring smooth functioning of the transmission line. Awards like these not only acknowledge our efforts but also encourages us to go further in providing best in class results.”

Tata Power shares were trading in red at Rs 93.60, down 0.16% from the previous closing of Rs 93.75, on BSE at 3.18 pm today.
