Som Distilleries & Breweries Ltd (BSE: 507514, NSE: SDBL) may start marketing their favorite beer brands ‘Hunter’, “Blackfort’ and Power Family soon as they have received excise approval, the company officials said.
The scrip had fallen 1.60% in afternoon trade on Friday at Rs 237.15 after hitting a high of 255.95 at NSE. On a returns perspective, 33.14% monthly, 42.34% quarterly and 70.18% half-yearly was much above industry average and Nifty returns.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 4.94 cr in December quarter registering an annualised growth of 79.25% while sales grew 50.53% to Rs 70.78 cr.
Financial ratios present a mixed picture with return on equity of 10.27%, on asets of 4.57%, net profit margin of 5.69% while liquidity and cash flow ratios are disappointing. It is trading at a Price Earnings Ratio (PE) of 30 indicating moderate valuation by market.
On technical charts, RSI of 50.11 indicates neutral trend, while MACD has witnessed a bearish crossover suggestive of sell and ADX of 37 indicates uptrend.
