Oct 13: Shreyas Shipping and Logistics Ltd (SSL), the Indian flagged vessel owning unit of Dubai-headquartered Transworld Group, on Friday announced that the company has taken deliveries of its three vessels.
According to the company, the delivered vessels are M.V. SSL Ganga (container vessel-1,500 teus), M.V. SSL Brahmaputra (container vessel-4,200 teus) and M.V. SSL Balaji (multipurpose vessel-650 teus).
Meanwhile, the company has also said that it has entered into a Memorandum of Agreement (MoA) for the sale of one of its vessels SSL Sagarmala.
Based in Mumbai, Shreyas Shipping and Logistics is a container feeder owning and operating company. It also offers services to the Middle East and Bangladesh. The company began primarily to fill the gap for container feeder between Indian ports and internationally renowned transshipment ports such as Dubai, Khorfakkan, Jebel Ali, Colombo and Singapore.
Shares of the company touched a new 52-week high of Rs 487.45 on BSE intraday Friday. The Rs 10 face value shares closed trading at Rs 455.20, up 3.70% from the previous closing of Rs 438.95.
