May 30: Post the overall decline in the smartphone shipments in the first half of 2018, Samsung has lined up new plans for the Indian market, where it is facing huge competition. Lately, the company has faced great rivalry from smartphone companies including Xiaomi.

Mohndeep Singh, Senior Vice President at Samsung was quoted as saying by news reports that the company has aggressive plans in order to keep itself leading in the market. Even though Samsung dominates the Indian flagship market, the company is facing tight competition.  OnePlus had recently launched its OnePlus 5T, which has become the bestselling flagship device in the country.

When it comes to pricing, Xiaomi and OPPO have been posing competition and are seen as over taking the South Korean giant in the Chinese market. In order to elude such a situation in the Chinese market, the smartphone maker would need to compete with the pricing structure of its competitors. The company is most likely to launch Galaxy J and Galaxy A series, which will help it dominate the market.

There are reports that the brand’s Infinity Displays will be centralized for all the designs. The dual camera setups and various other features seen in Galaxy A6 series will also be featured in the upcoming smartphones. There is news that the company will manufacture most of its devices in India, so that it will be able avoid taxes in turn reducing its expenses.
