Jan 17: Data published by the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (Trai) has revealed a decline in the 4G download speed of Mukesh Ambani-owned Reliance Jio. In November, the Jio network recorded an average download speed of 20.3 Mbps. As per the data published by Trai, Bharti Airtel’s 4G download speed which stood at 9.7 Mbps in November increased to 9.8 mbps in December.
Even though Vodafone and Idea Cellular had joined hands and is operating as a single entity, Vodafone Idea, Trai’s report has rated their performance separately. In November, Vodafone 4G download speed stood at 6.8 mbps, while in December, this stood at 6.3mbps. When it comes to Idea, the 6.2 mbps in November declined to 6 mbps
