Jun 1: Jaipur-based Om Metals Infraprojects Ltd, part of the Om Kothari group of companies, on Friday announced that the company in a joint venture with Patel Engineering Ltd, has bagged a contract worth Rs 92 crore approx on upstream of power house pertaining to phase 1 of Kundah Pump storage Hydro Electric project (1×125 MW) in Nilgiri District from TANGEDCO.
According to the company, the scope of the project includes for design, engineering, supply, transport, execution and commissioning of all components of hydro mechanical works and steel liner for pressure shaft and penstocks.
The company also said that it has successfully executed one project in Kameng (Arunachal Pradesh) for NEEPCO of similar nature.
