Oct 9: The Nokia 7.1 smartphone, which was launched by HMD Global last week, came as a disappointment to fans as it was just like the Nokia 6.1 Plus with upgrades such as Carl Zeiss cameras lens and Nokia’s ‘PureDisplay’ technology. Now, as if set to push the disappointed away, the company has another phone in line for launch, and the exciting feature that comes loaded is a ‘Mega Display’.
A recent tweet on the official handle of Nokia India was talking about a handset which will be launched soon. The post was deleted later. But the screenshots of the tweet is now making rounds online. The six second video in the tweet which displays the silhouette of a phone at the end is available on YouTube. Only the back side of the phone is shown in the video. It shows off a dual camera setup. ‘To See the Bigger Picture’ and ‘A Mega Display is Coming’ are the captions spotted in the video.
The tech world has concluded that the phone teased online is the Nokia 7.1 Plus, which was expected to be launched together with Nokia 7.1. The large size display boasted by the company gives us a hint that it is the successor of the Nokia 7 Plus. With 6.0 inch display screen, Nokia 7 Plus will be the HMD Global phone with the biggest display.
TENAA had listed the phone named Nokia X7, a Chinese variant of Nokia 7.1 Plus. The phone comes with a 6.18-inch screen of 2246 x 1080 resolutions. It comes in 4GB/6GB of RAM and 64GB/128GB of storage and is powered by 2.2GHz octa-core processor.
The dual camera set up in the rear will have 12MP and 13MP sensor. The front camera holds a 20 MP sensor. The battery of 3400mAh is smaller when compared to the one seen in the Nokia 7 Plus. It will likely be launched on October 11.
