May 22: Motorola, owned by the Chinese smartphone maker Lenovo, has announced that the Moto G6 series will be in the Indian market on June 4, 2018. Cost, availability, and launch day offers for Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play will be disclosed on the day of launch.
Moto G6 will be exclusively available on Amazon India while Moto G6 Play is expected to go exclusive on Flipkart. Flaunting the upcoming smartphone Amazon has already activated a new option ‘Notify Me’ for interested buyers.
Last month Motorola launched the Moto G6 series in Brazil where it hey launched three models which include Moto G6, Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 Play. Moto G6 and Moto G6 Play which are up for Indian launch are priced at $ 249 which translates to Rs 16,500 and $ 199 equal to Rs 13,000 respectively.
There are many similarities between the upcoming smartphones, but the battery capacity, cameras and the processor placed under the hood vary.
The smartphone which features a 5.7 inch FHD+ Max Vision IPS display with 18: 9 ratio sports Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC under the hood. The phone comes with a 3GB/4GB RAM options and with the storage option of 32GB and 64GB. MiroSD card slot is also available to expand the storage.
The smartphone is equipped with a dual-camera set up. A 12 megapixel and 5 megapixel camera are seen at the rear and a selfie flash accompanied 16 megapixel front camera is seen at the front. The smartphone flaunts the Android 8.0 Oreo operating system.
The battery of the smartphone comes with a 3000 mAh. Connectivity options including dual-SIM card slots, 4G VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth 4.2 are available for the phone.
