Feb 3: Maruti Suzuki, in response to the government’s new speed limiting instructions to taxis, has launched the Tour H2 version of the Celerio model. The new Celerio Tour H2 is based on the LXI (O) variant, and comes with its top speed limited to 80 kmph. The new model specifically engineered for rental services will be sold for a price of Rs 4.21 lakh.
The Tour H2 is well equipped with pivot type outside mirrors, naked steel wheels, manual air conditioning, fabric upholstery and a driver side airbag. In consistence to its previous model, the new Celerio Tour H2 will also get 68ps of power and 90Nm of torque from the same 1.0litre, three cylinder engine which comes along with five-speed manual transmission. No option for Automated Manual Transmission has been incorporated in the new version so far.
It was only recently that the Celerio Model came out after a makeover and its crossover version – the Celerio X was launched. Sources suggest that the company is all set to launch the all-new 2018 version of its most popular hatchback, Swift, at the upcoming Auto Expo 2018.
