Mahindra & Mahindra -Igatpuri won the Best Manufacturer Award at the 14th Indian Manufacturing Excellence Awards (IMEA 2017) jointly organised by Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) and Frost & Sullivan.
Hyundai Motor India Ltd, Chennai was declared the first runner up. This year’s Manufacturing Excellence awards were presented to 23 companies under three major categories:Indian Manufacturer of the Year Award, Future Ready Factory of the Year Award and Gold Awards. Future Ready Factory of the Year Awards were given in different nine categories – the winners were Mahindra & Mahindra, Nashik, Bharat Aluminium Company Ltd, Korba, WABCO India Ltd, Chengalpet, Johnson & Johnson Pvt Ltd, Baddi, Sterlite Copper, Tutikorin, Schneider Electric IT Business India Pvt Ltd, Bangalore, Schneider Electric India Pvt Ltd, Chennai, Philips Lighting India Ltd , Vadodara, Pfizer Ltd ,Goa.
