Sep 28: The construction arm of Mumbai-based L&T on Friday said that it has won orders worth Rs 1,477 crore across its two business segments.
The Water & Effluent Treatment Business of the company has won orders worth Rs 1,157 crore.
“Turnkey orders have been secured from the Public Health Engineering Department, Rajasthan for the execution of drinking water supply projects in the Pali, Dungarpur and Banswara districts of Rajasthan,” it said.
According to the company, the scope of the project covers design, engineering & construction of intake structures, water treatment plants, water storage reservoirs, supply and laying of transmission and distribution pipelines, design and construction of village transfer chambers, public stand posts and cattle water troughs with associated electro mechanical and instrumentation works.
Further, the company’s Buildings & Factories Business has bagged an order worth Rs 320 crore from a leading two-wheeler manufacturer for the construction of their manufacturing plant in Andhra Pradesh. The scope involves civil, structural, architectural and other external development works, it said.
