Feb 6: KEC International Ltd, the flagship company of the RPG Group, on Tuesday said that it has secured new orders of Rs 2,035 crore across its businesses.
According to a company filing with regulators, the Railways business of the company has secured three composite orders aggregating to Rs 1,769 crore for tripling of railway lines, including laying of tracks, civil engineering, electrification, signalling and telecommunication works, in North and East India.
The Transmission & Distribution (T&D) business has been awarded an order of Rs 161 crore for turnkey construction of 132 kV and 220 kV transmission lines in West Bengal.
Another order of Rs 30 crore secured by the Civil business of the company includes construction of residential buildings and workshop for a metals & mining company.
While the Cables business received orders of Rs 63 crore for various types of cables, the Solar business of the company has been awarded orders of Rs 12 crore for the construction of rooftop and ground-mount PV systems.
