Genus Paper and Boards Ltd has hit a 52-week high on better performance displayed in quarterly results and annual results. On Tuesday trading, the scrip went up nearly 5% to Rs 14.10 and trading at a price earnings ratio (PE) of 34.39.
The company had seen its net profit rise from Rs 4.74 crore in 2015-16 to Rs 6.93 cr in 2016-17 while net revenue from operations fell to Rs 308.86 cr from Rs 315.80 crore. The September quarter was also positive for the firm recording a net profit of Rs 4.13 cr while sales fell 1.19% to Rs 83.37 cr.
The company was established in 2012 in Moradabad in Uttar Pradesh. It has four independent plants within the factory premises having facility to manufacture waste paper based Multi Layer Kraft Paper, M S Ingots and fiber waste sheet. The company belongs to the reputed Kailash Group of companies.
On technical charts, RSI of 73.48 indicates bullishness while MACD has witnessed a bullish crossover and ADX of 31 indicates uptrend.
