May 11: For all those looking forward to buy the flagship phablet from Samsung, here’s your best change. The Galaxy Note 8 device from Samsung is now available at a price point well below its launch price.

After having launched the Galaxy Note 8 with a price-tag of Rs 67,900, Samsung had previously cut-short the price by Rs 8000  in the Indian market, making the price go as down as to Rs 59,900. Now, in addition the company-offered discount, the Galaxy Note 8 is also carrying additional discounts with it that takes the effective price to Rs 49,900, which translates to a combined effective discount of Rs 18000.

The offer is available when purchasing the device through Paytm, which is offering a cashback offer worth Rs 10000 for the flagship phablet. Users will have to make the payment for Rs 59,000, but Paytm will refund Rs 10000 to the respective Paytm Wallet account of the buyers.

To recall, Samsung Galaxy Note 8 features top-end specifications along with the impressive Infinity Display from the manufacturer. The device features 6.3-inch Super AMOLED display with QHD+ resolution, and under the display is the flagship Exynos SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 64GB expandable storage. It also comes with the S Pen that comes as the trademark feature of the phablet device from Samsung.

Users ready to make a jump to grab the device must however also have a rethought, as Samsung is likely to launch its next iteration of the Galaxy Note by August this year. The device will come with performance and hardware improvements compared to the predecessor. Recent leaks have thrown light over the design of the device, which pretty much appears to be that of the Galaxy Note 8. However, the Galaxy Note 9 will be featuring better hardware including upgrade to the latest Exynos/Qualcomm chipset. Samsung is also expected to keep the launch price unchanged for the new device.
