Columbus, a digital business services provider in the Nordic region, has kick-started its new Center of Excellence (CoE) in Pune. Columbus is a global IT services and consulting corporation with more than 2,000 employees serving our customers worldwide.
The Center of Excellence in Pune will complement Columbus’ Global Development Center in Hyderabad, which employs more than 300 people. The company looks to grow its headcount by more than 70 percent, to nearly 500 by 2020, across the two centers in India, said a report.
It is being said that the Pune CoE will act as a backbone to the company’s Infor M3 partner practice, providing consulting and transformative solutions to some of the world’s leading manufacturing companies. The New York-based Infor M3 is a global leader in business cloud software that helps companies achieve business-wide digital transformation. Columbus is the largest independent partner to Infor M3 worldwide, with 350 consultants globally.
The company has been quoted as saying in a statement that the new center of excellence in Pune fortifies its position as a global leader in the Infor M3 and Digital manufacturing space.
The Pune CoE is expected to further accelerate its growth complementing the existing setup at the Global Development Center (GDC) in Hyderabad.
