April 30: Japanese company Daiwa has announced the launch of its new TV models for the Indian market, posing a competition to Mi TV 4A. The 4K models, D55UVC6N and D50UVC6N, are touted as a source of never-ending entertainment and refinement at a cost unseen earlier.
The television model, which comes with a screen capture feature, sports a 4K display with a resolution of 3840×2160 pixels. The ‘A+ grade’ panel is boasted to produce around 1.07 billion colors. The other features present in the models include comb filter, enhanced picture quality. Additionally, the models also feature 20W speakers that comes with Dolby surround sound.
Daiwa also has shifted to the Android feature to add the smartness to its new models. With Google Play Store support, the TVs run on Android 7.0 Nougat OS. Using Google Play store one can install various Android apps such as Youtube, Netflix, Hotstar, Voot and the like into the TV, said a news report.
What powers the smart TV is a RAM of 1GB and an internal storage of 8GB. Details about the processor isn’t available as of yet. The television can be connected to smart phones using Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and Miracast to share contents. Apart from these the television also has three HDMI and two USB ports.
D55UVC6N model comes for Rs 36, 999, while the second model D50UVC6N costs Rs 29, 999. One can purchase the Daiwa television models on online shopping sites.
