Nov 3: In the past few years, Apple’s sales in India have seen a declining trend. The increased price for the Mac series was not doing any good to the sales of the company. The California-based company recently announced the prices of the new IPad Pro and MacBook Air. What is notable is that it has revised the prices of the other products in India.
Reports suggested that the price of devices including 12-inch MacBook, old 13-inch MacBook Air, 13 and 15-inch MacBook Pro models, 21.5 and 27-inch iMac models (including iMac Pro), and the Mac Pro have been revised.
There are cases where the prices of the devices were hiked too. Mac Pro with the 3.0 GHz 8-Core Intel Xeon E5 comes at a raised price of Rs 62,000. The old 13-inch MacBook Air’s price got hiked by Rs 7,700, which is the lowest of all.
The company has revised the prices of the MacBook 12-inch models too. The 256 GB variant of the device now comes for Rs 1,19,000, while the 512 GB variant will be tagged Rs 1,49,000. In the case of MacBook Air 13-inch (older variant), the revised price of the 128 GB variant is Rs 84,000.
The 128 GB variant of the MacBook Pro 13-inch Core i5 comes for Rs 1,19,000 while the 256 GB variant will be available at Rs 1,39,000. The MacBook Pro 13-inch touchbar Core i5 (2018) 256 GB variant will be offered at Rs 1,69,000 and the 512 GB variant at Rs 1,89,000. The MacBook Pro 15-inch touchbar Core i7 (2018) 256 GB variant comes for Rs 2,24,900, while the 512 GB variant will be sold at Rs 2,64,900.
The 21.5-inch, Core i5 in the iMac lineup will be priced Rs 99,900. The 21.5-inch, Retina 4k, Core i5 and 27-inch, Retina 5K, Core i5 will be priced Rs 1,19,900 and Rs 169,900 respectively. In the Mac Pro series, the 6-core Intel Xeon is price tagged Rs 2,79,900 and the 8-core Intel Xeon is price tagged Rs 3,79,900.
