Jan 5: Delhi-based construction major Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd on Friday said that it has secured new orders aggregating to approximately Rs 395.21 crore for construction of institutional and commercial including electrical, plumbing and firefighting services.
According to the company, of the total orders, Rs 314.67 crore worth projects are for construction of superstructure and infrastructure for 2,400 seater indoor auditorium works at Alipore, Kolkata (West Bengal) and the remaining worth Rs 80.54 crore are for civil and allied work at Noida.
“The total order inflow during the FY 2017-18 stands at Rs 1,261.89 crore,” the company said.
Ahluwalia Contracts (India) Ltd operates as a construction company in the country which engages in the construction of commercial buildings, hotels, hospitals, educational institutions, industrial plants, residential projects, townships, BOT projects and urban infrastructure.
Shares of the company surged more than 5% on BSE intraday today after the announcement came in. The Rs 2 face value shares closed trading at Rs 386.20, up 3.72% from the previous closing of Rs 372.35.
